LayerUp Kids helps parents make everyday decisions easier by turning local weather into practical, age-aware guidance for what children may need throughout the day.
You can create child profiles, check today's weather and clothing guidance on Today, work through a packing checklist for the day on Pack, look up room-temperature warmth ideas on Sleep, and create routines for sharing with caregivers.
Common questions
- How does LayerUp Kids decide what my child should wear?
- LayerUp Kids uses local weather information together with your child's age and saved preferences to provide practical clothing guidance. Recommendations are general guidance and parents should always use their own judgement based on their child's comfort and circumstances.
- Can I add more than one child?
- Yes. The free version supports the basic LayerUp Kids experience. Adding and managing multiple children is part of the Lifetime Unlock.
- Does LayerUp Kids require an account?
- No. LayerUp Kids is designed to work without requiring you to create an account.
- Where is my child's information stored?
- Child profile information and app preferences are stored locally on your device. LayerUp Kids does not use a cloud account or cloud database for child profiles.
- How do I remove my child's information?
- You can remove child information from within the LayerUp Kids app. You can also use the app's Delete All Data option to remove locally stored LayerUp Kids data.
- How does the Lifetime Unlock work?
- LayerUp Kids offers a one-time Lifetime Unlock. There is no recurring subscription. The Lifetime Unlock also removes advertising and unlocks the premium features described in the app.
- I purchased the Lifetime Unlock but it isn't showing.
- Open the app's Settings and use Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple account used to make the purchase. If the purchase still cannot be restored, contact support using the email address below.
